Privacy Policy
1. About
This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.
2. Collecting Personal Information
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, website address, and later your credit card information or other details to help you with your experience.
We collect information from you when you register on our site or enter information on our site.
If you choose to connect Figma, we may collect basic information about your connected Figma account. When you provide a Figma file, page, or frame link, we may access the file and node information needed to display available screens, including file, page, and node names, identifiers, structure, and related metadata. We may also collect rendered copies of the screens you choose to import.
Arlo accesses Figma file information only after you connect your Figma account and provide a Figma link. Screens are imported only when you select them or provide a direct link to the screen you want to import.
Waitlist signups
UXfolio LLC is the controller of the personal information you provide when joining the Arlo waitlist. We collect your email address, signup time, and the version of the signup notice you saw. We use your email address to send the launch/access notification you requested, relying on your consent. Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to newsletters or unrelated promotional emails, and does not require you to accept the product's Terms & Conditions.
We retain your waitlist information only for as long as needed to manage the waitlist and notify you that access is available, unless you withdraw sooner. You can withdraw your consent and request removal at any time by emailing , without creating an Arlo account. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Waitlist emails will also include an easy way to opt out.
Service providers helping us host the website, store signup information, prevent automated abuse, and deliver the requested email may process information for these purposes. The waitlist uses Vercel BotID for automated-abuse protection. The broader email-marketing purposes described elsewhere in this policy do not apply to waitlist-only signups.
Where applicable under data-protection law, you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your waitlist information, and request data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. Contact to exercise these rights.

7. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell or trade your Personally Identifiable Information. We may share information with third parties that help us operate Arlo and provide its features. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.

8. Third-Party Links
Arlo may integrate with or rely on third-party services to provide requested features. Those services may process information on our behalf and may have their own privacy terms.
9. California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law's reach stretches well beyond California to require any person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting Personally Identifiable Information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals or companies with whom it is being shared.
According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following:
- Users can visit our site anonymously.
- Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website.

10. Handling Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control Signals
We honor Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. When your browser sends either one, we treat it as if you declined browser analytics: we don't load them, store analytics data in your browser, or use advertising. These signals don't affect the server-side product analytics described in section 11.
11. Product Analytics
We use Mixpanel to understand how people use Arlo and improve the service. We configure our Mixpanel project for EU data residency.
We collect limited information about account activity, subscription changes and use of product features. These records use internal account identifiers and basic activity details rather than the contents of your messages or uploaded files. Account identifiers can be linked to your account and are not anonymous.
We process limited server-side product analytics for our legitimate interests in operating and improving Arlo. You may object to this processing by contacting .
Optional browser analytics
Optional browser analytics start only after you give consent. They collect information about pages visited within Arlo, basic browser and device information, and a randomly generated identifier. When you sign in, consented activity may be associated with your account.
You can decline without losing access to Arlo and change your choice through Analytics preferences at the top of this page. We treat Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as a refusal of optional browser analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future browser analytics but does not automatically delete previously collected records or stop separate server-side processing.
We do not use this analytics integration for targeted advertising or session recordings.
Reliability monitoring
We also use service providers to monitor Arlo's reliability and security through error and performance logs. These logs may include account details such as your user ID or email address.
Access to analytics and operational records is limited to authorized personnel and service providers for the purposes described here.
Retention
We keep analytics and monitoring records only as long as needed for the purposes described here, taking account of applicable legal requirements. To have your analytics records deleted, follow section 5.
12. COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old. We do not let third-parties, including ad networks or plug-ins collect PII from children under 13.
13. Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:
- We will notify you via email.
- You will be notified within 7 business days.
We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
14. CAN-SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
